Brian MacKenzie

Brian is a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces who spent seven years as a Combat Diver. A decorated soldier, Brian has worked on several humanitarian missions; whether he was picking up sandbags during the floods of Manitoba, or picking up unexploded bombs on his two tours to the former Yugoslavia.

After leaving the military, Brian attended Fanshawe College in London, Ontario for three years and earned his Internet Technologist diploma. During his time in college, Brian took up Mountain Unicycling, and has completed several grueling challenges on one wheel like the 170KM Ride For MS from Grand Bend to London and back, and completing 100 KM over technical, hilly singletrack as a solo rider on a 24 hour offroad mountainbike relay event.
Brian's interest in Extreme Unicycling led him to pick up videography and start producing nicely edited clips of his adventures. Before he knew it, he had produced two internationally distributed DVDs with his video work being featured on the Banff Film Festival World Tour, and being the number one featured video on YouTube. While producing these unicycling DVDs, Brian developed a filming technique not even reproduced in Hollywood. He is able to strap on his personal camera stabilization unit, mount his unicycle, and is able to capture the smoothest footage with a 360 degree view at speeds up to 20 KM/H over rough terrain, and through areas crowded with people or traffic.

Brian began filming wedding videos in London, Ontario since 2005 and was instantly hooked. He loves the excitement of the day, and in knowing that when teamed up with David Belne, they are going to create a beautiful memory that people will be enjoying for the rest of their lives . Brian and David have been working for years together, continually evolving their teamwork based approach, and investing back into the company with equipment that will be sure to make their next videos even better.

Brian is also the Director of Operations at Imaginethis Media Studios in Chatham where he handles website design, animation and green screen video production, while overseeing development of custom applications like interactive material selection systems for the housing industry.
