David Belne
| David Belne has a
musical background as a musician and vocalist. He was part of a rock ‘n
roll band in England playing guitar the group was strictly instrumental
and also in Canada in the late 60's in a group where he played guitar
and sang lead as well as two-part and three-part harmony, the group was
very successful in its short existence, playing at local clubs and also
touring the East Coast of Canada. Music has and will always be part of
David’s life. David has also been a commercial artist, artist, actor,
photographer, sales representative and author as well as being involved
with the Healing Arts. |

| He has been
filming for the past 14 years which includes documentaries, weddings,
musical concerts and working with local musicians. David looks at his
life as if it were like an artist’s palette in which the various things
that he has been creatively involved with are like the various colours
on his palette in which he can use in creating and editing video. David
has won awards in videography and his documentary “The Journey”
has drawn much praise and received great press reviews. The film has
been aired by Rogers Cable TV several times and has been archived with
the National Library in Ottawa and the University Of Western Ontario.
David has been working on another documentary over the past three years, called “The Saint is Dead” about the life of The Hon. Henry Edward Dormer a British soldier who came to London Ontario in 1866 and died in the same year at the age of 21. The film includes 23 interviewed people who interweave throughout the film with their thoughts and extremely well documented historical material amassed by Peter John Adams his co-producer. |
